Successful blood donation campaign in December
On December 14th 2017, Pelion organised a voluntary blood donation campaign among its employees. It was the fourth such event in 2017 and the tenth since the initiative was launched.
This time, 30 employees of Pelion and its subsidiaries took part. In total, they donated more than 10 litres of blood, which will be used to help people that need it, including a colleague struggling with cancer, to whom the December campaign was dedicated.
Throughout 2017, Pelion employees have donated more than 50 litres of blood, and since the first edition of the campaign in November 2015 – over 130 litres. Pelion is proud to have about 70 voluntary blood donors and the group is constantly growing.
Blood donation is one of the elements of the Company’s mission to promote long and quality life. Blood is a gift of life and the most valuable remedy, saving people’s lives and health.
