Wholesale is Pelion’s oldest business line - the company was originally launched to trade as a pharmaceutical wholesaler. Today, PGF S.A. is one of Poland’s three largest suppliers of drugs to pharmacies. It operates 13 centrally-managed warehouses across the country, working with approximately 850 drug manufacturers and over 10,000 pharmacies in Poland. It boasts the widest range of drugs and pharmaceutical products available on the Polish market. PGF S.A. consistently deploys innovative solutions and offers a package of advanced marketing tools to its customers. The company delivers comprehensive services to pharmacists, manufacturers and patients, and develops the e-commerce business concept, including a website for pharmaceutical professionals – pharmbook.pl.
Sales of drugs to local pharmaceutical wholesalers (pre-wholesale distribution) and a whole range of logistics services for drug manufacturers are handled by PGF S.A.’s subsidiary, Pharmapoint S.A., established in 2011.
