Another record-breaking year of PGF
In 2006, Polska Grupa Farmaceutyczna generated over PLN 4 billion of consolidated revenue from sales and net profit of PLN 62.7 million (19% higher than in 2005). – It was another record-breaking year in the history of PGF. For
the first time ever our revenues exceeded 4 billion. As announced in the beginning of the year, our net profit also kept on growing at a two-digit rate –said Jacek Szwajcowski, President of the Board of Polska Grupa Farmaceutyczna. The improvement trend also continued for the key performance indicators. The EBITDA margin (operating profit plus depreciation to revenues) increased by 0.34 p.p. reaching 2.71%, while the net profitability
went up by 0.23 p.p. to 1.57%. – This increase is a reflection of the measures we declared to take in order to improve the operating performance efficiency of the Group. Its strong financial condition is confirmed by nearly 58 per cent growth of cash flow from operating activities. In 2006, they reached PLN 118.2 million – observed Jacek Dauenhauer, Vice-President and Financial Director of PGF.
As one of its business priorities, Polska Grupa Farmaceutyczna continues to develop its program for affiliated pharmacies ‘Dbam o Zdrowie’. In 2007, the company plans to increase both the number of pharmacies covered by the program and its attractiveness for the pharmacists and the patients. – The experience shows that our strategy directly translates to value creation for the shareholders. We want to keep up the current high growth pace of the Group – added Jacek Szwajcowski.
