Reading with Pelion

The most recent CSR project targeted at employees is the bookcrossing initiative "Reading with Pelion". Its purpose is to encourage employees to read books. The practice of bookcrossing (also referred to as "releasing books" or "setting books free") consists in giving books away freely, by leaving them in designated places. Books may thus be picked up and read by others, who in turn leave them in the same place to be picked up again by other readers. A place has been made available where PGF's employees may leave and borrow books. Each circulated book is recorded in a special catalogue and stamped with the company's stamp: "Reading with Pelion".
