Pelion has offered wholesale supplies to hospitals since 1999. Its operations in this market segment started following the merger (carried out in December 1999) with Urtica Zaopatrzenie Farmaceutyczne Szpitali Sp. z o.o. (since 2002, operating under the name of PGF Urtica Sp. z o.o.). Today, PGF Urtica Sp. z o.o. ranks among ten largest pharmaceutical wholesalers in Poland and is the largest domestic distributor of pharmaceuticals to hospitals.

Within 12 hours, ordered goods are delivered, in specialised cars meeting the most demanding pharmaceutical standards, to approximately 650 hospitals throughout Poland.
